DISEASES OF LIVER AND GALL BLADDER

(A) CHOLECYSTITIS & GALL BLADDER STONE
Due to inflammation in gall bladder, common bile duct, which arises from it, also becomes inflames and narrow which leads incomplete secretion of bile towards duodenum. Instead of reaching to duodenum bile begins to reabsorb in liver and later on in blood circulation. Due to mixing of bile pigment in the blood, skin and sclera of the eyes become yellow and urine also becomes dark yellow and stool becomes of light colour.In case of Gall bladder stone, fragment of stone reaches to bile duct and obstructs it. Patient feels severe pain at the site of GallBladder (right hypochondriac region), which reflectly reaches to back abdomen. There is no authentic proof that Gall bladder stone can be removed with medicine.)
Kushta Hajrul Yahood:According to the books of ancient medicines this Kushta excretes kidney, urinary bladder and gall bladder’s stone in the form of sand in wine.Directions:- 30-60 mg to be taken with 5g of Majun Sang Sar-emahi or 5g of Majun Aqrab.
Majoon-e-Hajrul Yahood:In accordance with the ancient books of medicines, this too, may dissolve the stone of urinary bladder, kidney and gall bladder.Directions:- 5g to bet taken with water or with 30mg Kushta Hajrul Yahood or Iksir Gurda in the morning and evening.
Raughan-e-Zaitoon:According to the books of ancient medicines, the constant use of this Roghan may dissolve, and expel the gall bladder’s stone. Moreover, it strengthens body, is a nervine tonic and laxative.Directions:- 20ml to be taken mixed in 250ml milk.

(B) HEPATITIS & BILIOUS LIVER

Liver is the largest gland in the body. The liver is enlarged in case of inflammation and easily may be felt on right hypochondriac region. Patient feels pain in case of inflammation and feels difficulty in breathing. Tongue becomes yellow patient complains of nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and fever.
Araq-e-Kasni:
Useful in inflammation and heat of liver. Reduces heat of blood.Directions:- 125ml to be taken mixed in 25ml Sharbat Kasoos.
Araq-e-Mako:
It is useful in inflammation of visceras like liver, stomach, intestinesand uterus.Directions:- 125ml to be taken with 25ml Sharbat Kasoos.
Habbe Kabid Naushadri:Useful in enlargement of liver, heaviness of stomach, flatulence and constipation.Directions:- 2-2 pills to taken with water after meals.
Hayat Plus: 
It is prescribed for curing swelling related to liver, stomach, intestines and uterus, reduce fat and improve gastric disorders. It also normalizes their functioning.Directions:- To be taken 10-20ml with lukewarm water.
Iksir Jigar:
Useful in liver disorders and fever caused due to it.Directions:- 1-1 tablet to be taken with water after meals.
Kushta/Qurs Faulad:It strengthens liver, increase blood formation and acts as a tonic during convalescent period.Directions:- To be taken 60mg or 2 tablets with 10g of Jawarish jalinus.
Livo Syrup:
Useful in various live disorders like liver hypertrophy, fatty liver drugs & alcohol induced hepato toxicity, hepatitis & anorexia.Directions:- 5-10ml twice a day.
Livo Tablet:
Useful in many liver diseases like hypertrophy, hepatitis, fatty liver, toxic effects of drugs & alcohol on the liver. Livo tabs also increase appetite.Directions:- 2-2 tablet morning & evening.

Majoon Dabeed-ul-Ward:It is beneficial in hepatitis, weakness of liver, obstructive diseases of liver and dropsy.Directions: 5-5g to be given in the morning and evening with water or Arq Makoh or Arq Kasni.

NEW SHAMA'S S F Kas N Mako: 
It is highly effective in different liver disorders like Hepatitis. Also useful in inflammation and enlargement of liver, inflammation of stomach, intestines and uterus.Directions:- 30 to 50ml to be taken to times a day or as directed by the physician.

New shama's Ward Tablet: 
Useful in various liver problems like hyper trophy of liver, fatty liver,Hepatitis, Alcohol induce hepato toxicity, obstructive diseases of liver and Dropsy.Directions: 1 to 2 tablets after each meal or as directed by the physician.

Qurs Kushta Khabsul Hadeed: 
It is recommended in Hepatitis, useful in strengthen the stomach and liver and increase blood formation.Directions:- 1 to 2 tablet to be taken empty stomach with Jawarish Jalainoos or as directed by the physician.

Sharbat Bazoori Motadil:
Expels residua of liver, kidneys and bladder through urine.Directions:- 20-50ml to be taken mixed in a little water.

Sharbat Kasni :
Useful in hepatitis, gastritis, colitis, jaundice and excessive secretion of bile.Directions: 20ml to 40ml with water.
Sharbat Kasoos: 
Strengthens the stomach and liver, remove blockage of liver and helpful in fever related to liver disorders.Directions: 25 to 50ml to be taken with water or Arq Badiyan or as directed by the physician.
Sharbat Ward Mukarrar:
Useful in the diseases of liver and spleen. Removes the inflammation of stomach and intestines. It is also a laxative.Directions: 25-50ml to be taken with fresh water or some appropriate vehicles (Badraqa).

Sharbat-e-Deenar:
Useful in hepatitis and liver pain. Removes constipation.Directions: 25 to 50ml to be taken mixed in 120ml Arq Badiyan.
